Choir Course

Grade Placement: 7 and 8
Prerequisite: Teacher Approval
Full-year course

Placement in 7th and 8th grade music classes may include individual auditions with the directors of band, choir, or orchestra. Some activities at this level are considered extra-curricular. Students must maintain a 70 in all subjects in order to participate in competitions and other extra-curricular components of the music program. Attendance at outside of school curricular rehearsals and performances will be expected in order to meet performance requirements outlines by state course objectives.
